When does one need IVF?

IVF may be recommended in the following situations:

Infertility Problems – where couples who have been trying to conceive for at least a year without success, or individuals with known fertility issues like blocked fallopian tubes etc.

Unexplained infertility: When a couple is unable to conceive despite normal fertility test results.

Age-related infertility: As a woman gets older, her ovarian reserve declines, making it harder to conceive. IVF may be recommended for women over the age of 35.

Endometriosis: IVF may be recommended for women with severe endometriosis.

Genetic disorders: If one or both partners have a genetic disorder, IVF with preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), may be used to screen embryos for the disorder before implantation.
